If you have a need for a new horizontal or vertical compressed air unit, or if you just need a replacement component we can help.
We offer a wide range of cores and services to get you or your customer back up and running. If a tree limb falls and damages the oil cooler section only, we can replace it. If your unit develops a leak on the charge air side, we can replace it. Call 800-367-1374 the dimensions of the original unit for a quote. We try to make doing business as easy as possible. You can either send us a drawing of the unit, or you can send the unit itself, and we will develop all the drawings from the original. If you want to send us a drawing, it can be a simple free hand sketch or detailed Cad drawing. Don't worry that you may forget something, we will work with you and help make sure all the critical details are covered.
If the cooler is bad, but the original fans, mounting and framework are till in usable condition, we are happy to supply you with your cooler package only, allowing you to save the expense of replacing the entire unit.
We offer 4 different pressure ratings to meet the equipment's design. We can offer ether extruded tube or bar and plate core designs. Each unit will be fully tested and all dimensions inspected to make sure reinstallation is as effortless as possible.
We also offer direct and replacement air to oil coolers for Rotary Screw Compressors. We have replacements for Ingersol Rand, Atlas Copco, Joy, Sullivan, Sullair and more. In our cross over section you can find the original part numbers and our replacements. WE can also custom make a unit to meet your unique needs.

If your entire unit is no longer serviceable, we can offer complete replacements. Replacements can be provided for all types of packages including:
One of the best features of replacing the entire package, is we can work with you and customize the unit as you see fit. For example, if the it is cooling too much, or not cooling well enough, we can work with you to adjust accordingly. If regulations have changed and you now need a lower noise level, we can help. We had one customer who complained that their original unit had to be cleaned every month, and it required 3 people 16 hours to clean each unit, as the units had to be broken down. We worked with their field personnel and developed a drop in replacement package that was the same size envelope but incorporated both quick disconnect and a sliding "shelf" that allowed the first row of coolers to slide out so the unit no longer had to be disassembled for cleaning. These design changes reduced the time for cleaning from 3 men at 16 hours to one man at less than 3 hours.

Much like our custom engineered products, if you require horizontal, vertical or stand alone units PosiTech® is here to help. Extreme ambient operating conditions or severe hydraulic cooling requirements are our specialy. We customize our packages to fit almost any equipment, size constraints or working conditions.
Our engineers will sit down with you and go over all of your requirements. Even if you are unsure of some aspects of what you need relative to a heat transfer package, we sit with each client and help figure out your needs. We will not just plug some numbers into a computer. We will work with you and your engine supplier to figure out what you truly require.
Our custom engineered packages are typically geared for the small to medium OEM. We specialize and supply OEMs with annual requirements of 1 to 3000 units.
Our engineering staff has over 50 years of combined experience designing heat transfer packages. We will design and supply single coolers or complete drop in packages. Most packages typically incorporate a radiator, oil cooler, charge air cooler, shrouds, fans and guards. We have designed and supplied units with up to seven circuit designs. We have designed for 35 Hp to 2026 Hp applications.

We can design to meet noise level requirements, fouling conditions, salt spray test, high altitude or humidity environments, and more.
When we work with your engineering team, we have years of testing to back our projections. Testing and developing of the curves used in our air cooled product has been supported by rigorous testing. Touchstone Labs, a NASA certified testing lab has been retained in the past to do testing on our cores and bundles. Avancept, a heat transfer engineering firm in Ontario helped develop heat transfer curves on 17 different cores, which we then use to extrapolate that data for our different cores/fins/designs.
Over the years we have had engineering work done by Penn State and WVU. We have had destructive, explosion, and cycling test done on over a dozen different models by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of the State University of New York.
